Getting travel insurance is a top financial concern for people living with cancer in the UK.
Macmillan have partnered with Lighthouse Travel Insurance to help make travel a possibility, even when a cancer diagnosis makes life feel uncertain. Together, we are providing information, advice and top tips on how to navigate securing travel insurance.
For every policy that is sold through Lighthouse Travel Insurance, they will make a donation to Macmillan with a minimum value of £25k in the first year of partnership.
No extra money will be added to the premium a customer pays in order to make the donation to Macmillan.
Lighthouse Travel Insurance
Holidays are an important part of recovery after cancer treatment, whether in the UK or abroad. At Lighthouse Travel Insurance, customers can access Insurancewith, a specialist travel insurance provider founded by Fiona Macrae. Fiona’s own experience of being diagnosed with cancer and being unable to secure travel insurance inspired her to create cover designed for people in similar situations.
In addition to Insurancewith, Lighthouse offers access to other trusted brands, including Holidaysafe, Alpha, Dogtag and more. This means customers can compare and select the policy that best fits their needs.
Lighthouse is also able to provide insurance options for people without medical conditions, with the added opportunity to support Macmillan through their purchase.
